Local Community Groups

“There is immense power when a group of people with similar interests gets together to work toward the same goals.”
― Idowu Koyenikan, author

Below are a number of currently available funding or grant options and some inspirational case studies of projects we’ve been proud to support – but if you have a specific project in mind and need some help/advice – please get in touch, we’d love to hear from you!

We are here for community groups and organisations because we know that however big or small they may be, they all have in common the desire to make their community better.  We can advise on numerous potential funding options currently available, that may cover anything from new equipment for a village hall, wider broadband coverage for a community, establishing a community orchard, to complete new buildings, sports facilities or even housing projects.

We also know that community organisations are vital for getting things done because they are comprised of people who live and work in the community they are trying to help. As a not for profit company ourselves, we at DR understand the challenges facing community interest groups, charities and volunteer organisations. We offer advice, funding, support and services to help new and existing groups committed to improving lives in rural communities.  If you’ve got an idea for your community, but not sure where or how to start – get in touch!
